My go to southern dinner...Thanks for the recipe :-)
My go to southern dinner recipe is fried pork chops with gravy same steps as the bacon gravy start with about 1/4 cup peanut oil or shortening so that the oil is half way up the meat but many need to add some if cooking multiple rounds I fry up about 2-4 lbs blade or mixed sirloin chops dredged in salted flowerthe more meat the better flavor the gravy hasAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00048022727347141784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1489696027613465792.post-43712226461481996552015-03-14T20:32:13.672-07:002015-03-14T20:32:13.672-07:00Wow - thanks Kelley! (For 12 ounces of ground, browned sausage, sprinkle 2 heaping Tablespoons flour; for 16 ounces, use 3 heaping Tablespoons flour.)

Stir with a wooden spoon for several minutes to brown that. Then, for each 6 ounces of ground browned sausage, add one cup of the fattest milk you have (not cream). (For 12 ounces sausage, add 2 cups; for 16 ounces sausage, add 3 cups.) Over medium-high heat, whisk and stir until thick and bubbly.

No need to season or anything. It's all in there and ready to pour over your delicious sour dough biscuits or scrambled eggs. Now THAT'S what I'm a talkin' 'bout!

Hugs and happy weekend,
Kelley~

P.S.
