Hello dear friends!
Today is the day that I, along with many other women, have been eagerly anticipating. It is when we get to share about the amazing tea cup exchange that we participated in with Stephanie of The Enchanting Rose.

This is the day when we reveal who we shared the teacup exchange with! So please, come, sit a spell and drink tea with me today...
Indeed, such happy things we are talking about today! Our dear Stephanie goes to a great amount of work to gather and organize the names of all who want to participate in the exchange, and then pairs ladies up so that you send a teacup package to one lady, and a different lady sends you a package... the lovely benefit of this is that the exchange opens up friendships with two different ladies!
In this 9th Teacup and Mug Exchange, Stephanie paired me up with such a lovely and special lady that has become such a dear friend of mine over the years since I have been blogging. I just got tingles of joy when I received the email from Stephanie, saying who my teacup exchange partner was... dear Shirley (also known as Grandmommy). Through the years, Shirley's words of encouragement on her blog and beautiful pictures have been such a blessing to me, and it was a special delight for me to be able to bless her with a teacup package!
In my excitement of putting together her package, I completely forgot to take any pictures of what I sent her. Thankfully Shirley took a picture of her package and I "borrowed" the picture to share with you today {smiles}.
It was such a joy to put this package together for my dear friend Shirley, and I received the SWEETEST handmade thank you card from her (handmade by her sweet daughter), along with an incredible gift (also handmade by her daughter!) of this incredibly soft and gorgeous bunting!
I hung this bunting in my living room. I had just the perfect spot for it!
This bunting is a beautiful and very precious addition to my tea collection! What a joy it was to be able to send Shirley a package, but just like her gracious and generous nature, she sent me this gift as a thank you - oh my! It is a handmade beautiful piece of work that I will treasure always! I am just tickled pink with the way it looks hanging with my vintage embroidered linen dresser scarf with all my tea pretties.

As I opened the box, heavenly wafts of vanilla greeted me!
As I unpacked each item (so carefully packed and fit together perfectly like a puzzle in the box), I found the source of the delightful smells!
Not only did this smell good... but it was meant to eat! OH MY! Upon writing to Denise, and asking her about the vanilla sugar and if she had made it, she told me that she had purchased it from a local company who makes and sells it. I can tell you this, it is the most delightfully delicious way to eat sugar, hands down!
Organic chocolate!
A box of pumpkin spice tea, and two packages of tea that I had never tried before! Yummy seasonal treats to enjoy on cold blustery days, oh yes!
And what is a cup of tea without dessert... Denise had thought of every element to have a perfect tea... these amazing Walkers Pure Butter Shortbread cookies are made in Scotland, and Carr's Ginger Lemon Cremes... pure delight I tell you! I won't tell you how long it took me to try one of each... nope!
Along with all the delightful tea and sweet goodies were tucked in this special pen and bookmark set..
... along with another lovely tea bookmark! I definitely bookmarked the little quote on the bookmark... and have used it in this post {smiles}...
And this little package of tea napkins, oh so pretty, and perfect for catching little tea biscuit crumbs, so as to not lose a bite of their deliciousness! And I couldn't help but think the little tea napkins made the perfect backdrop for the quote on the bookmark!
Is there any happier business in the world than sipping on a cup of hot tea? I think not!
This happy little face came just in time to find his place to shine right among all my tea lovelies and for the fall harvest season. Isn't he a handsome fella! Love love love!
Denise included a very sweet card with all the beautiful things that she sent me. Truly I was more than blessed and overhwelmed by Denise's generosity, and cannot thank her enough for each thoughtful item she carefully packed and shared with me!
Oh the blessings and joy that she shared with me on such a perfectly dreary day... all of it was just perfect for a tea party !
So without further ado, I brewed up a cup of tea and settled in to enjoy and reflect on the blessings of the Lord, and the beautiful friendships that connect women all around the world as they open their special packages of tea lovelies.
I wasted no time in enjoying the yummy goodness Denise had sent me... the vanilla sugar mixed with spice tea... sublime indeed!
Thank you Denise for this perfectly packed, thoughtful, and overwhelmingly yummilicious box of goodies that arrived in my mailbox... all of the little extras that you sent to me are very much appreciated! Whenever I pick up the little vanilla sugar bag, and a scent of warm vanilla wafts into the room, I remember just how very blessed I am to be connected with this group of ladies whose generosity goes above and beyond. Blessed.. why yes, I am!
If you would like to see more about the tea exchange that Stephanie organizes twice a year, do pop over for a visit to her site Stephanie from The Enchanting Rose where you will be able to see all the tea fun that has taken place with this 9th Teacup & Mug Exchange. You will be glad you stopped by for a visit... and don't forget that you just might need a hot cup of tea, and a sweet tea biscuit as you browse. {smiles}
