In this picture, it almost seems like the tree is breathing fire!
Wisps of bright fiery colors sift through the leaves of the shadowed pine trees.
Extravagant colors shimmering in the wet crisp air, after the storm blew through.
It seemed the very clouds were firebrands as they lazily drifted in the horizon, as the silent silhouettes of the pines quietly watched.
As the evening shadows darkened, the colors in the sky deepened, their beauty radiating, mounting, and billowing out their loveliness.
Fall storms never cease to provide such splendor with their capacity for light and dark contrasts.
The brightness of the blue sky contrasted with the darkness of the shadowed landscape.
And as the shadows continued to gently overcome the light... the misty air rolled up to greet the darkness.
Such loveliness! It looks like our Father took out His paintbrush and painted a masterpiece...He does this every evening, because no two sunsets ever look exactly alike. It is amazing. No wonder the Bible says His ways are past finding out! Thank you for capturing His paintings and sharing them here with us! Sending you big hugs, sweet friend. :)
ReplyDeleteI too think of the beautiful paintbrush designs of the Lord! Absolutely breathtaking, incredible, and unique, every one of them! Indeed His ways are past finding out, the beauty of His creation never ever ceases to amaze me! I'm glad that you visited and enjoyed the pictures, praying the Lord blesses you today in a rich and mighty way in all you are doing for HIM! Much love to you dear friend!
DeleteSo awesome ( in the true meaning of the word ) are the beauties of creation. The sky provides an ever-changing kaleidoscope of natural art, often taking my breath away with the beauty.
ReplyDeleteIdaho is not so far from our future home near your borders and the view of the sky and the clouds from our place there is very similar, but ever-changing. I can, and sometimes do, spend much time just gazing at the sky there and contemplating God's majesty. Beautiful pictures.
Indeed, you said it quite eloquently my friend! Ever changing, never the same, and always breathtaking in its beauty! If you are not far away from the border of Idaho, who knows, maybe someday we can meet and share the beauty of a sunset together, and just - as you said - contemplate God's majesty - a lovely thought! Thank you for visit today, so happy to have met you :)
DeleteThis burning sky is worthy of a science fiction film. Something is about to arrive!

LOL... indeed one could almost think that - what with the trees appearing to breathe fire lol! Appreciate your visit Amalia... I'm sure you are up to something very creative, you always are. :)
DeleteThere's nothing quite like a fall sunset is there? We go to the beach often to watch the sky, which is often ablaze with color. Thank you for the mountain view!
ReplyDeleteOh, I would be at the beach with you watching the sunsets... my heart beats with the rhythm of the waves, I grew up on an island, and while the mountains are dear and near to my heart, there is something about the ocean that grabs my heart with its beauty too! So very thankful to hear your good report today on the blog, and you will continue to be in my prayers dear friend!
DeleteHello, I think we sometimes miss the wonders in the skies in the clouds and in the stars. God sure has given us such great beauty! The storms are usually wild and yet afterwards such a calm comes in...
ReplyDeleteI so appreciate you and your lovely comments and insight and true contentment in your life!
All things beautiful xo
Hugs, Roxy
Oh Roxy, isn't it wonderful to just stop and enjoy the beauty of the Lord wherever we are at. I do find such true contentment in looking at His handiwork, since He created such wonders in this world, it comforts me to know the piece of work He is doing in my life does not compare, and it gives me such hope! Thank you for your sweet words, dear friend, and I feel the same way about you! Your words are always blessed and full of grace! May the Lord bless you richly in all you do for Him :)

It has been wonderful the last few evenings, as the skies have lit up in amazing ways. My computer is groaning under the load of more pictures, lol! Oh, but I can't help but try to capture the beauty when it comes. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures, and I too pray that you are having a wonderful week!

Aren't they just beautiful!?!?!! I love to see "fire in the sky", too. Our sunsets over the bay are some of the prettiest I have ever seen but yours are equally gorgeous! Hope you have a great night. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteSunsets are always delightful, but truly even more so over water! I am sure you have seen some incredible sights! It never ceases to amaze me at how each one is so unique, and beautiful. I hope you are having a wonderful week, especially since you got such great news back on your "test". You did the right thing by sharing it to encourage others who may not want to do it. May the Lord bless you dear friend!
DeletePretty skies. When we lived in Colorado I marveled at the cloud formations in the fall mornings, and how sometimes they were like white cotton candy dipped in pink and orange dye. Amazing how God paints the heavens. Hugs, Nancy
ReplyDeleteGod is THE artist of all, isn't He! I think that incredible beauty can be found wherever we are, we just have to look for it. I have often thought that the clouds look like cotton candy too! So frothy, soft and colorful, almost like you could stick your finger in them and lick to your heart's content, lol! Yes, our God is an amazing God! Appreciate your visit and hope you are enjoying your weekend :)
DeleteStunning photos from your part of the country! I too love to photograph the sky! Hope all is well!!!

DeleteI don't think I've ever seen skies like that. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWe get skies like that mostly in the spring and fall here, absolutely amazing colors. Thank you for your visit, and I hope you are having a blessed and wonderful weekend! :)
DeleteThe photos are all lovely! What glorious skies! I especially like the blue and yellow one -- next to the last photo, I believe -- but all are beautiful. Indeed, God is the Master Artist. I never tire of seeing His handiwork. Your wonderful prose descriptions just enhanced the beauty of the photos. Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSorry to be so late getting to reply to your comment! God indeed is the amazing Master Artist, and I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures, I too, never cease to be amazed at the incredible beauty around us that He has created.
