This has been a rather busy week for us, and I've not been able to post or visit at all this week. I hope that I will be back to regular posting within the next day or so.
Meanwhile, we found some really fun pictures on our game camera taken over the past couple of weeks, and I haven't posted those yet... and so I wanted to share those with you. I think they will bring a smile to your face! We had fun laughing at the expressions of them as they got their picture taken, and trying to figure out what the flash was, lol! We have 2 momma deer and their fawns who are frequent visitors to our place as well as a buck, and it was great joy seeing their deer "selfies". :)
Not sure what set the camera off here, we haven't been able to pinpoint anything moving in the picture. Can you?
Trying to figure out what caused the bright light to flash... lol!
Ooh... a buck!
Different angles are always fun for selfies!
Husband and son were goggling at this picture... loving the fact of such a pretty buck roaming around out there!
Serious thoughts here!
So cute... caught with her tongue out! LOL!
This one really just tickled me! I think she was trying to lick the camera, lol!
So beautiful!
I could just hug these sweet deer, even though I know they would not appreciate that, lol! Aren't they cute!
Well, I hope these deer "selfies" brought a smile to your face today. They certainly did to ours!
It has been such a busy week for us, and I hope to find some time soon to return visits, and visit all of you sweet ladies who are such faithful readers. Blessings to all of you today and hopefully you have a big smile on your face thanks to our deer "selfies". :)

How fun! I have to say though that the pictures of the deer in the dark are a little disturbing! They make me think of something you might see in a horror movie. :)
ReplyDeleteThe night pictures are rather strange, aren't they! LOL... it is so funny to see their expressions on the camera though! :)
DeleteNice photos! It's amazing what will show up on a game camera. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt was my husband's Christmas present, but we all have been enjoying it! We keep hoping to see more different kinds of wildlife too. We have seen elk, bear and moose on our property before, and so we are hoping to catch these on the game cameras. We'll see what happens :)
DeleteGreat photos! My guys would be rather jealous... I love the one that's up close and personal. You wonder what they are thinking. God created such amazing creatures for us to enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
Have a great weekend!
Hugs, Amy
Thanks Amy, yes the guys really got excited when they saw the buck. We are hoping more wildlife shows up for us to see, but for now we are happy to see the deer posing, lol! I would never be able to get this close to the deer with my camera, so it is great to have this resource to see what is going on in our woods! Hope you are having a wonderful week my friend! :)

How fun! It was interesting to see the captures on your game camera. I wish you a blessed weekend and happy Valentine's Day. Hugs. Pam
ReplyDeleteWe had great fun looking at the pictures, but we keep hoping to see more variety, as we have seen bear, elk and moose on our property in the past year. Hoping that they take a pass through so the game camera catches them! :) We'll see! Have a blessed day and Happy Valentine's Day to you too friend!
DeleteAmazing expressions on their faces!
ReplyDeleteI know, weren't they great! I loved the one where she looked like she was going to lick the camera, lol! Great fun to see what is happening in our woods while we are sleeping :)
DeleteThat is so cool!! I love how engaged they are with the camera, it's amazing...and really funny actually. So many great shots were captured. It must be fun to check it and see what you've got! ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, it was hilarious to see them as they tried to understand what the camera was doing, and the great expressions we got! It is so much fun to have this camera taking pictures that I could never get close enough to get! We are hoping to capture more wildlife on here that we have seen in our woods! Hope you are having a wonderful day :)
DeleteI absolutely love these photos!!! I have just started looking into these motion activated cameras....can you give me some info on yours and your opinion of it, good and bad?
ReplyDeleteYes, I'll be glad to share the information with you. The cameras are StealthCam and hold an SD card in them, and can take both video and pictures, depending on what kind of image you want. We bought them at a local sporting good store before Christmas. Here is a link to one that looks almost identical to ours. http://www.academy.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_10051_1178102_-1?cm_mmc=pla-_-Hunting+Game+Cameras+Accessories+Game+Cameras-_-Google-_-Stealth+Cam+P12+6.0+MP+Infrared+Trail+Camera&gclid=CjwKEAiAova1BRDS15OXjcug_FMSJACWNAKZr3pZwKlzgv9oEfSDh7dJBXxvlHc3pf3kO6zX9aarzRoCjCjw_wcB (that is a long link, lol!) Anyway, hope this helps. We have been very happy with this game camera so far. :)
DeleteEnjoyed seeing the photos of deer. only thing we see in our neck of the woods is raccoon and possum! Oh of course a rabbit or two too. Keep you life busy so we can see some more photos!
ReplyDeleteLOL... I'm sure we have those too, although they haven't shown up on the trail cam. It is rather exciting checking the cameras to see what is roaming around out there for sure! I will definitely share more photos when I can :)
DeleteHi MM! You have a lot of deer around you! It's so interesting that they are curious about your 'stealth cam' and not afraid of it. Even wanting to lick one :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you have been able to get lots done this week. Some weeks and days are like that. You'll get there, don't worry. Hope you can rest on Valentines Day :)
Blessings,
Ceil
Thanks Ceil, you are so sweet! It is going to be a lot of work, and I have faith we will get it done in time :) Appreciate your visit and sweet comments as always! Happy Valentine's Day to you too my friend :)
DeleteOh what wonderful pictures, they're adorable. We need to get our trail cam back out. We put it up when we first moved here and caught a picture of one deer and a turtle. I don't think we have enough trees here so the deer stay farther down the road. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteA turtle, really, wow! That is one animal I don't expect to find on our trail cam, lol! It is fun to check it every week or two and see what has been visiting us. Usually the deer do like trees, but if you feed them corn, they will come for that regardless of whether there are trees or not. Of course, sometimes feeding the deer bring another set of problems when they eat your bushes and shrubs. So yes, having the woods to feed them in is probably better than getting them used to eating in your yard, lol!
DeleteAppreciate your visit today! :)
I absolutely love deer! I wish I could see one on real life with such beautiful snow arround! Thanks for sharing those wonderful and fun photos!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine Day!
Hugs and love from Portugal,

I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures, and do hope that one day you will get to experience wildlife like this for yourself! We truly are so happy to be here with the wildlife around us. Thank you for your visit, and hoping you are having a wonderful day in Portugal :)
DeleteThese photos are just amazing! I especially love that close up. What a beauty! They all have the most beautiful eyes! Deer are such beautiful creatures. Loved seeing these!

I never would have been able to get this closeup of a deer, no matter how still I try to stay, lol! So having this game camera has been really awesome to see the deer hanging out around our place. They are such sweet gentle creatures, I love them too! I saw a really little baby fawn today, couldn't have been very old I don't think. I didn't realize they had fawns this early in the year, but! It was so small and cute, not much bigger than a puppy.
DeleteI will be popping over to visit you.. have been thinking about you and wondering how you are doing! Have a blessed day my friend :)
Good morning,
ReplyDeleteThese are very entertaining and did bring a smile to my face.
Have a lovely weekend,
♥Hope
Oh I'm glad they brought a smile to your face, as they certainly did to ours too! :) Have a great day!
DeleteA happy smile is spreading wide across my face, thanks to your adorable pics of these delightful deer! They are camera happy, I believe, and lucky you to be so close to them in those beautiful woods of yours!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day!
Poppy
Since we can't get that close to the deer, having this game camera has really been awesome, and we love seeing the pictures we get. We check it every 2 weeks or so. I am looking forward to seeing what is on there next :) Have a blessed day my friend!
DeleteI loved seeing these! Off to leave the link with a friend who will also be interested.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, I am glad you enjoyed the pictures, and hope it brings a smile to your friend's face too! Have a wonderful day! :)
DeleteAww....these are so neat! It is so funny to see their expressions! Thank you for sharing these. They brought a smile to my face!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the deer trying to lick the camera... there is no way I could ever get that close to them for such a fun picture! It was so enjoyable, and glad you got a smile out of it too! Have a blessed day my friend! :)
DeleteFun pictures! I wonder how many deer we would see if we had a camera up like this. We do find tracks and see them occasionally too.
ReplyDeleteYou would probably be surprised how many come, and the times that they come. That is one thing I love about the game camera as it also shows when they are moving around. It has been a wonderful thing to have in our woods for sure :)
