Chocolate covered strawberries.... strawberries and cream... strawberry jam... strawberry shortcake... strawberry muffins.... strawberry cheesecake...
Oh... the delight of a strawberry!!! Whether covered in chocolate, dunked in milk, or swimming in sugar.... strawberries bring delight to a heart announcing the arrival of spring!
When beautiful rosy red strawberries begin gracing the markets early in February...
It is then that the heart can begin to rejoice knowing that spring's arrival is being announced....
I love you dearest strawberry - your dabbled rosy cheeks and perky green leaves, bring joy to my heart that sings to me ... of SPRING!

Your photos of your strawberries look so inviting! We too, love anything with strawberries! We plant them in our garden every year and then I dehydrate a lot of them. They are yummy!
ReplyDeleteAs a matter of fact, we are having strawberry shortcake for dessert tonight.
I hope you are doing well and have an awesome weekend!
Hugs to you,
Amy
OOH - strawberry shortcake is one of my favorite desserts! Well... anything with strawberries is kinda hard not to love, in my opinion anyway! I have planted strawberries too, and there is nothing like the kind you grow yourself, the store bought ones have no comparison!
DeleteHope your weekend is wonderful, and blessed with warm weather!
Oh- How i love fresh strawberries. We do not get fresh ones grown locally here until mid-June. Is that sad, or what? lol xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI know, we don't either. But, the ones we are getting now are from California, and aren't hard and half white at least like the ones throughout the winter, lol! I just finished dipping them in chocolate... yum!
DeleteThank you Teri for coming by for a visit today :) I think strawberries are my favorite fruit... especially chocolate covered ones! :) Have a blessed day!
